EIB and HBOR Sign €300 Million Financing Agreement for Croatian SMEs

On 28 October 2026, the European Investment Bank and Croatia's development bank HBOR signed a €300 million loan agreement to finance investment by micro, small and medium-sized businesses. The funding is the first tranche of a wider €500 million financing framework, with at least 30% of the €300 million allocated to climate action and environmental sustainability.
