Botswana’s Airport City Development Creates Future Hospitality Opportunities

Botswana’s 29 October project update confirmed progress on Airport City under the country’s multi-billion-dollar investment framework with Qatar’s Al Mansour Holdings. The planned mixed-use development includes a hotel and international convention centre, with major structural construction scheduled to begin by the end of 2026. The development is expected to create about 20,000 direct jobs when completed, but no separate hotel investment value or room-rate figure has been announced.
